The Hail Mary! This Marian prayer summarizes the whole of the Church’s public prayers to Mary. Its first part – the Evangelical Salutation – is among the first to be used in the Church and its full form put together with the Supplication of the Church in the fifteenth century and finalized in the sixteenth.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Dzisiaj jest uroczystość Najświętszej Maryi Panny, Królowej Polski. Przedstawiamy modlitwę “Zdrowaś Maryjo”. Jest streszczeniem całej publicznej modlitwy Kościoła do Maryi. Pierwsza część pochodzi z Ewangelii, druga jest dopełnieniem i modlitwą Kościoła z XV i XVI wieku.

Zdrowaś Maryjo, łaski pełna, Pan z Tobą, błogosławionaś Ty między niewiastami, i błogosławiony owoc żywota Twojego, Jezus. Święta Maryjo, Matko Boża, módl się za nami grzesznymi teraz i w godzinę śmierci naszej. Amen.
