NO CONFESSION, NO ADORATION TONIGHT
Thanksgiving Day may be observed with a special Mass at Catholic churches throughout the United States of America.
The day is a secular holiday with strong religious roots. This day implies that there is a God, that God is provident, that we recognize what God has done, that we can address God about our blessings, and that the best thing we can say is “Thanks.”
If anyone knows how to give thanks to God, the church should know how to do it best. The very word Eucharist means “thanksgiving.” There is no more fitting way to celebrate this feast than to join in prayer at the table of the Lord.
Dear Donors,
Thank you so much for the spiritual and financial support you’ve provided to our La Salette Missions in Ukraine and to the refugees in our La Salette residencies, religious houses, retreat houses and charity organizations both in Ukraine and in Poland, as well in Slovakia and Czechia.
As for now, there are more than three million Ukrainian refugees in Poland, mainly women and children.
The Our Lady of La Salette Polish Province ministers in 47 places in 9 countries in Europe and in Twin Lakes, WI, US.
Six of our La Salette parishes are in Ukraine. Eleven of our La Salette Missionaries work there, and all of them have made a decision to remain with the faithful in those six parishes: Zaporizhzhya, Nikopol, Kyvyi Rih, Brailiv, Bus’k and Lanovychi. They’re helping refugees and each other as they’re able (room and board, transportation, community support, and other assistance).
In all our La Salette houses and parishes in Poland, we’ve welcomed the refugees from Ukraine. We’ve also held a fundraising campaign in all our 10 countries to cover our expenses for assisting the Ukrainians. If you’d like to get any information about what we’re doing there, please, let me know. I’ll forward to you any communication I get from Ukraine and Poland.
With profound gratitude for your generosity

Our Lady of La Salette Festival
On Sunday September 19, 2021 we have celebrated the 175th Anniversary of the Apparition of Our Lady of La Salette. Our prayer and conversion, gratitude and ministry have been offered to God through the intersession of the Blessed Mother Mary of La Salette. On this occasion, a new Shrine of the Blessed Mother, Queen of Podhale has been built and blessed. See all the pictures in LIFE OF THE SHRINE
W niedzielę, 19 września 2021 r. obchodziliśmy święto Matki Bożej z Ła Salette i 175 rocznicę Jej objawienia w La Salette. Składaliśmy Bogu w ofierze przez wstawiennictwo Maryi nasze modlitwy i nawrócenie, naszą wdzięczność i głoszenie orędzia Maryi. Ofiarowaliśmy też nową kapliczkę Matki Bożej Ludźmierskiej, Królowej Podhala. Bóg zapłać wszystkim uczestnikom za modlitwę i ofiary! Bóg zapłać wszystkim Góralom za piękną obecność w strojach regionalnych! Zdjęcia można zobaczyć pod zakładką LIFE OF THE SHRINE.
Cardinal Wyszyński about the Rosary:
“Let us be attached to the Rosary so that we pray it constantly, that we return to it easily, that we devote all our free time to it. How pleasant and faithful companion of our daily activities can be the Rosary! Wrestling with daily household chores, long walks to work, to the factory, school or office, […] waiting in lines, at bus stops, in the waiting room of offices, long hours […] in a car, on the train, sleepless nights watching over a sick child’s cradle, pleasant moments of rest, wandering in the woods or in the city – all this can be sanctified, enriched, more enjoyable, with the prayer of the rosary.”
“Come closer, my children; do not be afraid.”
On September 19, 1846, Mary appeared to two small children in the alps of Southern France. Today, the La Salette Missionaries carry on her message of reconciliation and mercy in 25 countries all around the world.
