• Marian prayers / Modlitwy maryjne: The Angelus (11)

There is no single author of the Angelus. The present form of the Angelus, as it was recommended by Pope Paul VI in his Marialis Cultus, is the result of a century-long development and was definitively approved by Pope Benedict XIV in 1724. The Angelus is an explicitly biblical prayer. It has quasi-liturgical character in as much as it provides sanctification of various parts of the day. Pray the Angelus here

Tekst modlitwy znajdziesz tutaj

Mary’s Month of May

Catholics have dedicated the month of May to the Blessed Virgin Mary. There are some popular ways to celebrate it: prayers, pilgrimages and services.

In Our Lady of La Salette Shrine in Twin Lakes, we have a daily exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and recitation of the rosary after Mass at 7:30 am (except Sunday). On Sunday, May 2, we placed a crown of flowers on the head of the statue of the Blessed Virgin. A statue of Mary is honored with a wreath of blossoms to indicate Mary’s virtues. Finally, on the website, you’ll find a short daily reflection and Marian prayer.

Maj, miesiąc Maryi

My katolicy od wieków poświęcamy Najświętszej Maryi Pannie miesiąc maj. Czcimy Matkę Pana poprzez modlitwy, pielgrzymki i różne dzieła.

W Sanktuarium Matki Bożej Saletyńskiej w Twin Lakes, codziennie w maju (oprócz niedziel) odmawiamy modlitwę różańcową przed Najświętszym Sakramentem po Mszy św. po angielsku o godz. 7:30 am. W pierwszą niedzielę maja kwiatami ukoronowaliśmy figurę Matki Bożej. W ten sposób uczciliśmy cnoty Matki Najświętszej. Na naszej stronie będziecie mogli codziennie znaleźć krótką refleksję i modlitwę maryjną. Zapraszamy do Wspólnej modlitwy.
